"Iboga doesn't work" — the Portugal clinic built around what comes after
Álvaro de Ferranti got clean three times before it held. Inside Tabula Rasa, the Alentejo program he built around the part of recovery most clinics undersell.
We interview every clinic we feature. We don't accept payment for inclusion or for placement. No scores — readers draw their own conclusions. Profiles are added as interviews are completed.
Every profile in this directory is built from at least one direct interview with the clinic's clinical leadership, on-site or by video. Profiles also include photographs of the people we spoke with, and of the property where the clinic has shared them. We do not pay for inclusion. We are not paid to include or exclude. We list a clinic when we have enough first-hand information to write about it honestly, and not before.
Other Mexican ibogaine clinics exist and are not yet profiled here. That generally means one of three things: we haven't reached them yet (the directory is growing), our editorial standards weren't met at first contact (a small but real category), or the clinic has chosen not to participate. We do not list clinics we cannot stand behind on the basis of direct knowledge.
Some clinics that are not profiled here are covered in other parts of the site, including in our Research Hub and in topical articles like the Beond primer. Coverage and directory inclusion are not the same thing.
Inclusion is a slow process by design. If you are a clinic operator and you would like to be profiled, our standards are on the About page.
Dr. Gavriel Dardashti has been running ibogaine programs for twenty years. 3,000+ patients. A proprietary AI dosing algorithm. Ibogaine only — no bufo or 5-MeO, by design. 5–10 patients at a time.
"The patients who do best aren't the ones who want ibogaine to fix them. They're the ones who understand it's the beginning of the work." — Dr. Gavriel Dardashti, Founder
Founded 2013. The only clinic offering all four medicines — ibogaine, kambo, bufo/5-MeO-DMT, and ayahuasca — in a single 14-day program. Cardiologist stress test required before any session. From $10,500 all-inclusive.
"We don't treat ibogaine as a drug with a protocol. We treat it as a teacher with a lineage. That changes everything about how you run a session." — Rite of Passage Mexico, Co-founder
One of the most experienced ibogaine programs in Mexico. Fentanyl specialist with a dedicated detox protocol. San Diego pickup available. From $7,500.
"The ibogaine is two days. The integration is two years. Most programs get that backwards." — New Path Ibogaine, Clinical Director
Barry Rossinoff knew Howard Lotsof before most people knew ibogaine existed. Seventeen years as a not-for-profit cooperative in Tepoztlán, approximately 1,300 patients treated, a two-dose ibogaine protocol with a Friday booster. Seven patients a month, on purpose. From $6,500.
"It's almost like a boutique situation. We're not motivated by becoming larger. We want to continue becoming better and going deeper in the work." — Barry Rossinoff, Founder
Álvaro de Ferranti co-founded Tabula Rasa in Portugal in 2018 after ibogaine saved his life — on the second attempt. Four beds, ACLS nursing team, on-board defibrillator, and a 30-day Baja Mexico program launching Jul/Aug 2026. From €6,650.
"Quite frankly, if I hadn't stumbled across iboga, I don't think I'd be alive today." — Álvaro de Ferranti, Co-founder
Dr. Martin Polanco has been treating people with ibogaine since 2001. On our call, he took apart the most flattering statistic in the field without being asked.
"Every slip is not a fall." — Dr. Martin Polanco, Founder
Cardiac screening, medical supervision, integration support — the questions that separate a safe program from a dangerous one.
Read the guide →The ibogaine clinic landscape splits roughly in two. Understanding the difference is the first decision you'll need to make.
Read the explainer →We interview before we feature. We don't score. We don't accept payment. Here's what the editorial process looks like from the inside.
Our editorial standards →About this list: Every clinic listed here has been contacted and is being considered for an editorial profile. We interview every clinic before we publish a full profile — we don't feature clinics we haven't spoken with. Profiles are added as interviews are completed.

Inside Ibogaine Clinic with Dr. Gavriel Dardashti — twenty years, a proprietary dosing algorithm, and a founder who still does every intake call himself.
A small program that puts Bwiti tradition at the center of its model — and thinks the Western clinical frame misses what ibogaine actually is.
Most ibogaine programs end at discharge. New Path built its whole model around what happens next — and the veteran outcomes are showing it.
